a garment inspired by self-dependent machines and dr. seuss.
the arms are held in place like tubes, each the same size.
each pattern is drawn from optical illusions to help confuse the viewer.

a dress inspired by knobs and tubing on machinery.
I wanted to keep this piece simple, with minimal elements to make it odd.
the middle pattern is directly inspired from dazzle camouflage, and the striped textures resemble ribbed tubes.
a toy to book project
I modified a set of toy binoculars by removing its two lens, one that enlarges and one that shrinks, and formed them into pendants which are meant to be worn together.
I used the lens that enlarges, the white object, to carry letters that I have received from my home on the opposite coast, typed very small so that you might read them with a sense of dearness.
The lens which shrinks, the blue object, is meant to be directed at the things around you which are too grand or overwhelming, so you might see them more distantly.
